“My name is Sajid Mahmood Awan. I am a candidate for the national council.

I am working for KSB Pumps Company as Director Finance and Company Secretary.

I am FCMA, FCIS and Certified director with above 18 years of diversified multinational and multicultural experience in Pakistan and overseas along with international professional trainings.

During my career I have experienced challenging assignments in corporate governance, Finance & accounting, ERP implementation, industrial relation, and SOX compliance.

In my opinion, we should improve the processes which should be open and transparent to ensure integrity and compliance.

Un-biased faculty selection is the first and foremost step to achieve the objectives.

We should achieve excellence through extensive trainings in IT and Communication.    

We need to differentiate over selves as Cost and Management accounting professionals and convince the authorities that cost audit can be helpful in price control and prevent tax evasion.

We should benefit with the experiences of other leading institutes, improve the infrastructure and expand to other locations.

Our professionals should be able to compete globally with other qualifications but as a fire fighting arrangement we should help them in placement.

Women participation should be formalized through special seats in the branches and national council. 

We should take maximum benefit from the modern technology i,e seminars through E-learning, online voting, bills payments through credit cards etc.
